Hello! My name is Matt Faraci and I am a Live Content Specialist, Video Editor and Content Creator!
What really gets me going as a creator is being in the moment. Showing the moment in a way that the fan feels like they are in that moment. Telling the story of the the moment whether that is for the athlete, a brand or social media.
I am a former college football player turned content creator. I began creating content in 2016 when I played football at Trinity International University in Chicago, IL. At TIU, I was an All-NCCAA All-American, All-MSFA Center and team captain. I began created creative content for the TIU football team in 2016 when one of the pieces of content went viral and was produced and made into multiple nation wide commercial campaigns.
In 2018 I joined MLB as our first Video Content Creator. I have helped grow this role from a project based role to a role that has it's hands in every department in MLB marketing.
I have covered 4 World Series, 4 full postseasons, the 2019 London Series, 2019 Mexico Series (2x), 2020 Dominican republic game, 4 spring trainings, 2021 all star week and so much more.
The content I have created has amassed over 100+millions views and engagement. I have created content that has been nominated for multiple awards including:
2019 Webby Award Honoree: Best in Sports Social Video - Juan Soto World Series Follow out
2020 Webby Award Nomination: Best in Sports Social Video - Brett Phillips World Series Walkoff
2020 Shorty Award: Best Live Event Coverage - Brett Phillips World Series Walkoff
Since joining MLB I have created content for every major platform Tik Tok, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. One thing I always come back to is that One piece of content might be amazing for Tik tok, but not for Facebook. You have to understand and know the platform in order to create the highest quality content for that specific audience.
